OK, I give up for now on the pic. Hopefully Howard will be able to do something with the one I sent him.

Good day today. First, Howard lures me into taking a half day off from work to ride down for him to get his bike dynoed. Well, as long as we're here and you have a sniffer....:uptosum:

I had a feeling the bike was rich on top and a little lean on the needle. The run verified both. So, until I get the jetting changed (tommorrow) we're sitting at.................

139.9 HP and 82.3 ft/lbs :elate: :elate:

To top it all off Howard and I took a little ride afterwards before I had to bolt home. I was really surprised at the numbers because I had a feeling the jetting was off. But I sure as heck ain't complaining. New plugs and a smaller main jet and I'm off to Norwalk next week. BTW, current settings are:

134 mains, N2.5, 38 pilots

Will be switching to:
132 mains, N3.5

Think that main is too large?Seems if you just raised the needles you'd be good... Hell call 140!

Raising the needle would help with the lower midrange, but at 8-8.5k it's getting as rich as 11.6:1. Raising the needle would make that even more rich. So, I figure I'll go down 1 size on the main and then raise the needle a full notch. Hopefully, that should flatten my torque curve out and give me just a little bump up top too. Chasing HP is soooo much fun!:uptosum:

BTW Lloyd, I'm thinking of giving Howard's extra set of FP needles a try just for shits and giggles.
