Texas Rex's, Weekend dec 18 and jan 1

I am off of work for the first time in 4 months on these two weekends, also including dec 25th, but thats the day after my birthday, and christmas, so i'll most likely be hung over. Anyway. this is my first sat off in ages and I'm looking to have alittle Saturday fun on either Dec 18 or Jan 1 (another potential hangover day). Any input or thoughts? From what I understand, the Ft Worth Toy run will be Dec 19 (which I will be attending also if anyone would like to go to that aswell) . Anyway, Look forward to replies and such, would like to get to meet some rex's from the OA !

I am willing to go either day, if we go Sunday I will have to blow off the Toy ride, but being that I went to the ennis ride, I wont mind it so much. I will ride saturday if anyone has anything going on aswell. Its my first whole weekend off, and i'm rather excited.

I am on for whatever. To be honest, I dont know any great places to ride though. I am game for anything on Saturday with anyone that wants to ride. I am welcome to a suggestion on what to do or where to go. I am free saturday and sunday this weekend and plan on riding both. Name a time and place to meet and I am there and will ride as long as we can or weather permits.

I am in on Saturday it is going to be sunny and 67 degrees :elate: :elate: We can meet in the Gap like were going to when we got rained out. Dan said he was going there are some great roads around there we can ride.

I think I can do Saturday, depending on whether I can get my flat rear tire fixed in time! I'm gonna try and find a place to patch it up today...:cry: I've also gotta pack my bags sometime this weekend, since I'm off to England on Monday for two weeks. Pint o' Guiness, please :drinkup:

Got my wheels off the bike ready to have some new rubber put on.

I took a ride down to Austin and San Antonio last week and at a gas stop in Hico on the way back I realized I could see belts on the back tire. Not good. I took it very easy the rest of the way!

Anyone wanna ride Dec 26th? I got new frank thomas strike pants and some boots to break in good. I finally got my clipons set the right angle to be comfortable and I'm loving life. I dont mind going the distance if anyone, like in the hill country area, wants to do some riding tomorrow. Just give me directions and a time. The wife told me she needs some time to clean house and get the place back together from the holidays!

Currently eye'in a 03 leftover R6, 04 sv650 and still open to any other of the 600ish cc options. I dont want to jump in to hard, but I do want a track only bike. I have been searching the boards about track bikes, and I just cant decide, but I am pretty sure I want a 600ish cc bike.

Nothing is in stone though.

Not sure if the bike will be ready.... perhaps everything but the cosmetics/paint. :tongue:

I ended up ordering base coat and candy lime green from Color-Rite, and English Color in Carrollton is mixing me some of the pearl white. Haven't got any of the paint yet.... :( Supposed to get my crash slider, mirror extenders and front turn signal in tomorrow.

Also ordered left rear quarter decal from Ron Ayers. *$$Cha-Ching!$$*. So, I'll probably have all of the parts back together, but she'll look a little scarred until I get the cosmetic touches done. :laff:

I could ride, if you don't mind being seen with Frankenstein's ZRX!

Mine is looking more and more like a rat bike with the little paint chips and the dent on my tank every day. I would never mind being seen with another rex, in almost any shape.....except maybe pink.

Dang you and your wierd sunday schedule.....as a light at the end of the tunnel, in about a month, I will get every 2 saturdays off, 2 on 2 off. That will make things easier hehe.

There's a Hooters just east of the intersection of SH121 and 360 south in Grapevine, right on SH121, due north of the airport. I reckon that would be about halfway between the D and FW people.
