View Full Version : rear shock muffler hanger
Has anyone seen the style of "muffler hanger" that connects to the upper mounting nut of the rear shock absorber. It's about the width of a pencil and can be seen on the green ZRX in the 2004 FastDates.com pinup calendar. I'm trying to locate this hanger to eliminate the rear pegs and like this hanger's style. If anyone knows where I can find this hanger, let me know...

You guys are on the ball, big time. Yes, Ben, that's exactly what I'm lookin' for and I guess my question to you is.....Do you have a Wyn's Muffler Bracket? (like the one Wekoli shows on his reply) or a different one. Thanx again guys....

Same one and it works great. I took the passenger pegs off my ZRX just in case my wife decided that she might want to get off the Goldwing and start riding on the back of the ZRX. She might have gotten around the lack of padding on the Corbin Gunfighter but no pegs makes it impossible since she is 53 years old and is not as agile as she used to be.
Come to think of it I am not as agile as I used to be!:rof: :rof: :rof: :rof:
Do you know if Corbin makes the Smuggler style "single seat" w/ that small compartment in the rear for the 1200?

I am sure that they make it but it is probably a little expensive. Check their web site, they have all their products listed there. Some folks have had some issues with customer service from Corbin but I have not had any problems with the four seats that I have had. Since I live in northern California I can drive to the factory and deal with them face to face. This also allows me to have my seat custom fitted to my measurements which is a big plus.

It cost me around $500.00 shipping including to Hawaii! And the compartment is really not that small! I too got that seat because I don't want people asking me to give them a ride!
