Reduce (well, no). Reuse (ding ding ding). Recycle (and destroy perfectly good parts?!).

Modding the old ZRX left me with complete front and rear ends, so onto the gpzturbo they go. OK, the ZRX swingarm is on my KZ900, so I had a Bandit 1200 arm laying about and that's what's on the gpz, but the rest of ass end is all ZRX (with a spiffy GSXR1100 ohlins shock modded by ohlins service to fit the gpz).

A few mods were needed on the swingarm to get it and the shock to fit. Also, the stock exhausts needed to be tweaked outward to fit, and the rear passenger pegs had to go. The rear pegs and front pegs mount on the same gigantic piece of plate so essentially that was cut down and shaped. Weight savings!!!!

Next up is using the stock 1100 front end and a nice new kondracki triple clamp set up. Some fairing trimming will be needed. I have to say that given the beautiful unrestored stock nature of the bike, it's a little painful, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
