I have some shots of my REX with the wheels polished. Who can help me resize them so I can post them here? I've resized them, but it says they're still too big...HELP! :beer:

Nice "N" shiny. I have been considering doing mine for a while. The more I see the more I want to do it. I think it adds a nice edge to the look. :thumbs: Did you do it your self?:confused:

No problem...

The rims look nice. Good job.

Do you need to put a clear coat or something similar on them to keep the raw aluminum from tarnishing/corroding quickly?

I just use a coat of Mother's polish to protect the aluminum and it works great. I did my ZR7 wheels the same way and never had a problem, but I do clean the bike quite often! :thumbs:

Nice to see your post, the bike looks great! I polished my rims with the Nevr Dull that we talked about and it turned out great. I stripped the wheels more than a month (>1000 miles too!)ago so you can imagine the difficulty I went through to get them to look like yours. After about an hour for each wheel they look great. The protective coating should make it easier to clean next time.

Hey, get the screws? How did/will they work out?
