I guess I'm biased, but this type of forum section is basically what forums are for, if you ask ME! Of course, being that the last 3 years running my business, and the last 20 years of my life with my bike collection, have been pretty much all about restorations, overhauls and major projects, you can see why I'm excited.
Thanx, Chuck, for being on-the-spot and responsive to ONE MEMBER'S request; just a bit suprised nobody else chimed in, or maybe I posted the request in a little-traveled section of the forum?
Anyway, thanx again. I've only got one ZRX project going, but it's got two fairly nifty sub-projects, and maybe I can dig out my old '99 project.

I don't know if we vote on this kind of question; are you talking about parting out bike(s)? The Salvage section is already there. One good thing about tear-downs, they can reveal tricks that help A LOT for rebuilds. I don't think i'm alone in having broken some bits trying to re-install them becasue I didn't know "the trick".

Did the top end on my '74 Trident to replace a blown head gasket, didn't have a good camera at the time.
I've done zilch on my '00 Legend 900...

On 2-stroke triples, same goes; I did the top end on the '74 H1 that just sold on e-bay 2 weeks ago. It had holed the center piston due to the PO improperly adjusting the oil pump. Never have split the bottom end.
