Muffler clearance with shock

I have little to no clearance between the muffler and shock on my 1100. When carrying a passenger the 1/16" of clearance with the muffler is gone from the weight on the footpeg. Everthing looks like it is in the right place and there are no exhaust leaks. I was thinking about shimming the right passenger footpeg. Any suggestions?

What kind of exhaust do you have? Did you mount it to the inside or the outside of the mount point on the passenger peg?

Its posted under Muzzy so I'll assume its a Muzzy exhaust.(mounts to inside).....You might try loosening pinch bolt on muffler to mid pipe and pulling on end of can(shift it a little) and retighten.

It's definitely a Muzzys (gotta love all these new post-able areas!). I have the SS/AL system, BTW.
