OK, these handle bars have gotta go. Not only do they lack enough set-back to be comfortable, they have too much angle on the grips to fit in my hands. Gen-mar risers ain't gonna help with the angle part of my bitch. These bars were made for people with narrow shoulders and all I can do is hold the grips with my thumb and first two fingers. What I'd like to buy is a bar that bolts in place of the stocker and has adjustable rise and bar-end angles. Several sport bikes have this adjustability off of the forks and I believe the Kawasaki Concours has angle adjustability with their cast aluminum brackets. Does anyone make the product I'm describing? I cannot be be the only one that hates these stock handle bars. I need feedback, please. CB :( :( :(

I'm not alone, please tell me some of you are miserable too. I like my bike, just have to get it to where I can be nice and "comfy" on these long rides. CB:cool:

I managed to get rid of the angle problem by flipping the risers around then tilting the bars down as far as I could. Had to rotate switches for tank clearance. Bars work much better for me now. The next step would've been MX bars which have been discussed elsewhere in the forum.

Bars would probably work for ya. They are straighter. Any bike shop has em.

Thats the only way i could get the stock bars to feel good to me was, like GREENTRASHMONSTER said.Spin the mounts and pull them as back as far as possible without hitting the tank at full lock. Then they felt real good to me and the mirrors have a lotta adjustment. I got super bike bends on now with the mounts turned back in the stock direction, but i might go back and check out the stockers again they felt real good like that.

I just ordered a set of Renthals (They are for the KX85). They'll be in next week and I'll let you all know how they work.

I am going to use the Wild Hair 500g bar end weights, too. Maybe that will help with the 5k vibrations.
